Reflections

After availing ourselves of food and beverages, we joined Bob and Kylene in the opening session of Boothbay 2013. Kylene and Bob shared stories with us about what is essential in our classrooms. We oarticipated in the great Marshmallow Challenge. The challenge gave me much to ponder (Teri) and even resulted in today's blog post for me at LJ (http://professornana.livejournal.com). This morning we wrote with Linda Rief, 3 quick writes. Amazing! Now we are engaged in a discussion of rigor and what it is. Also talking about Common Core and what it really should be and how we should be looking at rigor and analysis. There is a YAPP for Boothbay. If you download the YAPPBOX app for iPhone, install it, click on I have an invitation. On the next scree, add your name to the first box. In the second box, complete the URL this way. After the / type in N4KDFM. It should nowload. As you explore the YAPP, you will see there is a Twitter feed, book covers, links to power points, and contact information for thw faculty here at Boothbay.
